How to Play Airsoft at Peak Airsoft

Upon Arriving at Peak Airsoft

You will be greeted by a friendly Peak Airsoft staff member who will explain our game play packages, then provide a briefing outlining:

  • General rules and code of conduct
  • Arena safety
  • Arena operations, and
  • Operation of Peak Airsoft’s guns

Once in the Game

  • CALL YOUR HITS. Honesty goes a LONG way in making a game of airsoft more enjoyable forEVERYBODY
  • Barrel taps allowed (knife hit)
  • Engagement distances will be assessed on individual game basis
  • No blind firing (eye on target)
  • A hit to any part of the body counts as a kill (including hydration packs, etc.)
  • Hits to the gun generally count as a kill for most games. However for some scenarios, it may not count. Ensure you understand the rules prior to the start of the game
  • Ricochets do not count. However, if you are unsure if you were hit by a ricochet, or direct hit, you must assume a direct hit and call it
  • Immediately yell “HIT” and raise both hands/gun in the air and walk to your team’s respawn area. You may also use a red “death” rag that a killed player can place on his or her head as he/she leaves the field to indicate a hit
  • Do not shoot after being hit, while leaving the field, or as a spectator
  • In some cases other behaviors (i.e. playing dead, standing in place, etc.) will be agreed upon before a game starts. In these cases, observe the appropriate conduct diligently
  • Many games will have a minimum distance rule applied which prevents (in most cases) someone being shot at point blank range. If you are within 10 feet of an opposition player and have the upper hand, you can yell “SAFETY KILL” rather than actually shooting
  • This rule may not apply to all games so make sure you are aware of the rules of the particular game you are playing. Please treat others with respect
  • If a different close contact rule is declared prior to a game then it must be followed
  • If there is ever a dispute during play, call “Parley.” Once this is called, both parties must immediately exit the field to reach an amicable resolution
  • Foam swords & daggers, rubber knives and similar “soft” weapons are allowed if approved by Peak Airsoft staff
